Financial literacy education provides individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively manage their financial resources, plan ahead, and seek access to credit in order to develop small enterprises. However, key findings from the S & P Global Financial Literacy Survey shows low level of financial literacy around the world. Women were found to have lower financial literacy levels compared to men, while the young are vulnerable group and important target for financial education programs. Unfortunately, financial literacy education has received little to no attention in our school curriculums.
Program Focus
Our Financial Literacy Program promotes financial literacy awareness and teaches women how to make the most of their money by making, managing, and growing it. The program focuses on the basic principles of money, which includes: Earn more, save more, invest smartly, spend wisely, borrow bravely, and give happily.
To successfully apply the money principles, WealthyGen teaches its signature AGALEC Strategy to empower people with no financial background to build wealth from the scratch while encouraging those that are financially aware on going the extra mile to surpass their financial goals.
Program Delivery
WealthyGen delivers the financial literacy program through personal finance courses, one-on-one coaching sessions and workshops. These are hosted on ground and online. We also work with partners to create, adapt, and deliver financial literacy programs to their specific target audience or groups to best meet their needs.
Program Modules
Our Financial Literacy Program covers different modules that focus on different aspects of personal finance. The program modules are based on the FDIC Money Smart Curriculum, adapted to best meet the needs of the audience we serve.
